Soon after I began my career as a graphic designer, I was given the opportunity to move to Spain to teach English at a public school in Madrid.
From August 2023 to July 2024 I was living my dream of traveling the world, but I knew something was missing. That was when I started working my creative muscle and began to create these posts.
Ireland 2024
I took pictures of everything hoping to capture the imagery that surround me on a daily basis. The school I worked at gave me an old scanner and I began to scan newspapers, flyers, flowers, notes from my personal journal, or (as seen to the right) images from textbooks provided by the Madrid Government.

Each collage includes scans from my personal journal/sketchbook. I keep a blank Moleskin sketchbook on me at all times partly because creative ideas come at unexpected times, but also because I love collecting stories, drawings, words, etc. from strangers.
Similar to my "Weird" project, the scans help to not only tell a story, but to contribute to the visual depth of my designs.
These collages were made on illustrator using linked files from photoshop. Although this created a larger file size, it left room for live edits on the psd files.
